13. Loving the Freedom

Parcels make me feel best! The two huge parcels my mum sent me finally arrived the other day! Along with the shoes I bought online. Had so much trouble carrying them because each parcel from Malaysian weighted at least 15kg wtf!? Brought my friend along and I was so clumsy all the way carrying one back to my room. Kept dropping the box and had to cry for help hahah! Thank God another friend came along and helped me with it.

Didn't get to take pictures of the parcels because my friends seemed more excited than me hahah! Now I have a wide range of pastes and instant noodles to last me till summer! Yay! And also A LOT MORE CLOTHES! And two new pairs of shoes.

^^V

Oh did I tell you my each pair of my trainers only cost me FIVE POUNDS!

I ordered them on a Wednesday evening and they arrived on the next Monday! Prompt delivery! And they look exactly the same as the photos, even better when I wear them on. I'm a size 5 so I bought my size for the beige ones and they fit so perfectly! For the blue ones I bought a size larger b'cause of the inner fur lining and it ended up a perfect fitting too! I love them so much more than the shoes my mum sent me :x

Best part: THEY ONLY COST ME 14 POUNDS (delivery incl.)

Cheap + gorgeous shoes + quick delivery + honest sellers --> a loyal happy customer! I bet in no time I'm gonna place another order with them again when I see something I like. Oh ya the shoes are from every5pounds.com.

Due to laziness, I'm not gonna post any photos of them on my feet.

Oh ya and the boyfriend's coming tonight! But I have a test tomorrow and on Monday. Zzz.

On a totally unrelated note, I find myself very contradicting. Remember how I was complaining about my homesickness?

I was homesick the other day so I skyped my family. And after the skyping session, I felt so glad that I'm away from home. Even now, I feel so glad that I am all the way here in UK. Less family drama, less nagging, less controlled. Don't get me wrong, I love my family a lot. But for now, I enjoy my freedom. I love how I'm totally in control on my own money budgeting and on what time I should be home. Noone tells me how to dress and I can wear whatever I want! I can buy whatever I want, I can eat whatever I want, I can go wherever I want! There is no restrictions!

Thinking about restrictions, I feel kinda unwilling to go home for summer. Yep, I'm starting to love this country more than my home country. I remember I was telling people how much I hate the weather here and all. But after a while, I find myself liking this weather more than a humid warm climate back at home. Initially I could cook nothing and now I'm getting better at cooking. And I don't miss home cooked food as much anymore. I still miss some of the Malaysian food but I don't see a trouble coping it.

I still don't have much friends and all but, I like it here. Correction. I love my freedom.

But I really miss KL style hokkien mee. ):
